Terrilyn Wendling

Originally from Michigan, Terrilyn has been at the museum since 2006, having become curator of collections in 2008 and assistant director in October 2013. She received a bachelor's degree in archaeology and master's degree in American history and museum studies.

Terrilyn was drawn to museum studies because museums make history more accessible to everyone using real historical objects and stories. This history buff is particularly interested in the Revolutionary Period and the Victorian Era, so she feels right at home in our 1895 Hawkins House.

Terrilyn lives with her husband in Bentonville, and enjoys all types of crafts.
