In the event a regularly scheduled collection is missed through no fault of the customer, a special collection will occur within 36 hours of LRS / Orion Waste Solutions receiving notification. Please call (479) 878-1384 the following morning so a prompt pickup may be scheduled. If you have been missed on a Friday, please call (479) 878-1384 between 8:00 AM-12:00 PM on Saturday to reschedule for a Monday pickup.
Bulky waste is collected once a month. Please do not co-mingle bagged trash with bulky waste. If it is in a bag, it is assumed to be household trash and will not be picked up. Bulky Waste Collection must be scheduled with LRS / Orion Waste Solutions by calling (479) 878-1384. Construction and/or demolition debris such as toilets, boards, plywood, or cabinets are not considered bulky waste and will not be picked up by LRS / Orion Waste Solutions.

As with any customer provided service, LRS / Orion Waste Solutions hopes to avoid the need complaints. However, on any projects this large, misunderstandings will occur. Keep in mind the trucks are emptied periodically and will return to finish collections where they left off. If you feel you have been missed, please call (479) 878-1384 the following morning so a prompt pickup may be scheduled. If your complaint remains unresolved after speaking with customer service, contact the manager at (479) 878-1384. If you feel your complaint is still unresolved after speaking with the manager, please contact the front desk at City Hall (479) 621-1117 to report the concern. You may also report a concern online.
There will not be trash service on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Trash pickup will resume one day after your scheduled day during the week of the holiday. Extra trash placement is allowed on your pickup date following the Christmas holiday.
LRS / Orion Waste Solutions provides a fall leaf pickup twice a year. The City of Rogers will publish these dates on our website and through social media outlets. There is a limit of 30 bags per household.
No. The City of Rogers encourages its residents to manage their yard waste using on-site techniques such as backyard compositing and mulching mowers. Alternatively, yard waste may be dropped of at either the Rogers Recycling Center located at 2300 N Arkansas St or the Rogers Street Department located at 3101 W Oak St. Curb side collection of yard waste may be disposed of by purchasing yellow yard waste bags from LRS / Orion Waste Solutions for $2.00 each. These bags will be picked up curbside on your regular solid waste and recycling pickup day.
By city ordinance, trash service in the City of Rogers is considered a part of the city's provision of basic utility services and is mandatory for all residential customers. Since the city is not able to verify when a house becomes occupied from being vacant, trash service can only be discontinued simultaneously with water services.

Yes, in certain circumstances a smaller bin can be provided. For example, if there is a disabled or elderly person with very little trash. They can apply for a smaller bin, must provide a drivers license or State ID and the request must be approved by the Water Department. The can sizes available are: 96 or 64 gallon rolling carts.
