WHEREAS, the outbreak of Covid-19 has resulted in an ongoing global pandemic that continues to affect many citizens of Rogers and the State of Arkansas;

WHEREAS, The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has provided, and continually updates, health guidelines and recommendations in order to protect the residents of Arkansas;

WHEREAS, the City of Rogers supports mask usage as recommended by the ADH and CDC and supports residents who choose to wear a mask or socially distance due to a cancer diagnosis, autoimmune disease, the desire to protect an unvaccinated child or high risk loved one, or for any other reason in order to stay safe from Covid-19 infection and spread.  The City of Rogers encourages all of its citizens to follow all protocols and guidelines put in place by private businesses as it relates to mask usage inside their property; and

WHEREAS, the City of Rogers encourages all of its citizens to receive a vaccine against Covid-19.
