The City of Rogers has hired Hannah Norris Milligan as the Director of the Rogers Public Library with the aim to continue cultivating a center of imagination, learning and literacy in Rogers. Her hiring comes with the retirement of long time director Judy Casey at the end of the month. Judy is finishing up 24 years of service with Rogers.
About the person chosen to replace her as Director, Judy Casey made this statement:
“I am happy and proud to congratulate Hannah Norris Milligan on becoming the next Director of the Rogers Public Library. Hannah has worked at the Library since 2012 and has been Assistant Library Director since June 2019. Ms. Milligan is passionate about serving the community and providing library services. She has demonstrated the ability to think outside of the box and a willingness to see us grow and meet the ever changing needs of our community. I am excited about the future of the Rogers Public Library under her new leadership.”
Hannah’s drive is evident as she has now received her fourth promotion since beginning employment at Rogers. She has also completed both a Bachelor and Master degree in Library Science in the same time. Mayor Hines echoed excitement at the selection, “Hannah has shown tremendous dedication to growth in her time with the City of Rogers and brings a wealth of experience to the Director role.”
Hannah steps into the role with enthusiasm and vision for the future.
“I am extremely excited for the opportunity to serve as the new library Director for the Rogers Public Library. I have a passion for serving the public and I look forward to the challenges that this position will bring. I am eager to build and cultivate partnerships, and foster a renewed interest in the library’s outstanding services and resources within the community of Rogers.”
