The Rogers Fire Department provides fire, emergency medical, hazardous materials, and technical rescue service to the City of Rogers and surrounding areas of Benton County.
Founded in 1888 as the all-volunteer Rogers Hose Company Number 1, the modern Rogers Fire Department is an entire career organization with over 154 full-time employees, eight fire stations, a training campus and a building for the Risk Reduction Division.
The City of Rogers has grown from a hard working 19th-century rail town into one of the best places to live in America according to CNN Money Magazine. Besides being the home of over 80,000 residents, the city is also the center of commerce and retail for Northwest Arkansas.
The City of Rogers is routinely recognized as a progressive community for business and a premier area of commerce. The city is home to the newest hotels, restaurants, and amenities, as well as an authentic historic downtown district and unrivaled natural beauty with Beaver Lake and the rolling hills of the Ozarks.
In 2011, the Rogers Fire Department was first accredited by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International. Following that designation, the department also was accredited for its pre-hospital emergency medical care by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services. Subsequently the department has undergone re-accreditation every few years. In 2015, the department was awarded an Insurance Service Office rating of one. This insurance rating is based on a one to ten scale. The lower the rating indicates superior fire protection capability. Rogers is the only department in the state and one of just a handful nationwide to attain this “triple crown” mark of excellence. These achievements ensure that the citizens of Rogers receive the highest quality care of anywhere in the world.
The Rogers Fire Department is committed to the preservation of life and property in our community, which includes our residents, businesses, and those who are visitors to our city.
