Parks

The Parks and Recreation Department oversees over 400 acres of land, containing over 20 parks, a skateboard and splash park, 26 athletic fields, and a 22-mile Greenways and Trails System.

As the population of our city grows, so does the need for more parks land and athletic facilities throughout the city. The Parks Commission oversees the acquisition of additional land and the long-term direction of the parks system.
